Introduction

The EZVIZ app is the central hub for managing all your EZVIZ cameras, doorbells, locks, sensors, and alarm panels. Available on iOS and Android, it provides live viewing, playback, smart notifications, automation, and device management—all from your smartphone.

Getting Started

Download the EZVIZ app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account with your email or phone number. Add your first device by scanning its QR code. The guided setup connects the device to your Wi-Fi and configures basic settings in under five minutes.

Live View and Playback

Tap any device on the home screen for a live view. Use two-finger pinch to zoom digitally. Swipe left on pan-tilt cameras to rotate the view. Access recorded footage through the playback timeline—filter by date and event type (motion, person, sound) for quick retrieval.

Smart Notifications

Configure which events generate push notifications: all motion, person only, vehicle only, or sound detection. Set notification schedules so alerts are active only during times that matter. Customise detection sensitivity to balance responsiveness with false-alert frequency.

Device Sharing

Share camera access with family members without sharing your login. Go to Device Settings > Share and enter the recipient’s EZVIZ account email. You can set permissions (view only or full control) and revoke access at any time.

Automation and Scenes

Create automation rules that link devices: when the doorbell detects motion, start recording on the porch camera. When the alarm triggers, turn on all camera sirens. When you leave home (geofencing), arm the alarm system. The EZVIZ app makes these automations simple to configure.
