الأمن السيبراني لكاميرات IP: حماية شبكة المراقبة الخاصة بك

ممارسات أمنية أساسية لمنع كاميراتك من أن تصبح نقطة ضعف
Elevator security camera installation

Introduction

Elevators are enclosed, high-traffic spaces where incidents—assault, vandalism, theft—can occur out of public view. A dedicated elevator camera provides continuous video evidence and acts as a visible deterrent in this vulnerable environment.

Camera Selection

Use a compact vandal-proof dome camera with a wide-angle lens (2.8 mm or wider) to cover the entire elevator cabin from a single corner-mounted position. The camera should have WDR to handle the mix of fluorescent cabin lighting and bright lobby light when doors open.

Wiring Challenges

Elevators move, so cables must travel through the shaft via a flexible travelling cable. Use shielded Ethernet cable rated for elevator use, or install a wireless bridge between the cabin and a receiver at the top of the shaft if hard-wiring is impractical.

Integration with Floor Indicators

Overlay the current floor number on the video feed so investigators can pinpoint the exact floor during an incident. Hikvision NVRs support text overlay from elevator controllers via RS-485 integration.

Audio Recording

A built-in microphone captures audio inside the cabin, which can be critical evidence during verbal altercations or emergencies. Ensure audio recording complies with local regulations and appropriate signage is displayed.
