What You Need
An EZVIZ camera, a smartphone (iOS or Android), the EZVIZ app (free download), a stable Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz for most models), and a power outlet near the camera location. Some models include a battery, eliminating the power outlet requirement.
Step-by-Step Setup
Open the EZVIZ app and create an account or log in. Tap the “+” button to add a new device. Scan the QR code on the camera or its packaging. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected, name the camera and choose a location label.
Configuring Detection Zones
In the camera settings, define activity zones so you only receive alerts when motion occurs in specific areas—for example, your front door but not the street beyond your fence. This dramatically reduces false notifications.
